Police respond to reports of 'armed man' in Walton
SURREY Police descended on to St Johns Estate in Walton at about 2.30pm today following reports of a man threatening to use weapons against people in Cheriton Court.
It is believed a woman with a young baby was threatened, but a police spokesman said there were no knives or firearms at the scene.
Police recovered a weapon but at this stage they say there is no indication that it has been used.
Surrey Police is continuing to carry out a thorough and extensive investigation into this incident.
