Sunbury ex-serviceman to face trial

AN ex-serviceman accused of hitting a neighbour over the head with an iron bar is facing trial at Guildford Crown Court.

At crown court on Thursday, February 4, Harry Johnson, 75, of Upper Halliford Road, Sunbury, denied unlawful wounding with intent. He was remanded on bail until Monday, February 22, when his trial will start.

As part of his bail conditions he was ordered not to enter Vincent Drive, Shepperton, or light fires or play loud music in the gardens there.
