TWO people have been seriously injured following a hit and run outside the entrance to Thorpe Park last night.
Police are trying to trace the driver and passenger of the black Vauxhall Corsa which collided with the two just before midnight on the A320 Staines Road in Chertsey.
The male pedestrians were injured and have been taken to St Peter's Hospital, Chertsey, with "serious but not life-threatening" injuries according to Surrey Police. They were a 16-year-old who suffered leg and head injuries and an 18-year-old with arm and chest pain.
A Surrey Police spokesman said that the car was travelling north on the road and that after the accident two people were seen running from the vehicle. Dog teams and a police helicopter were used to try and track the two but they could not be found.
Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses who may have any information to contact them on 0845 115 2222.
