PUPILS at Laleham Primary School enjoyed a surprise ride in a limousine on their last day of school.
The children, who had 100 per cent attendance at the school in The Broadway, Laleham, were rewarded with a 20-minute drive in the swanky stretch last Thursday morning.
Headteacher Shirley Lunn said: "It is very hard to get 100 per cent attendance, as not only must you not take any days off for holidays, you have to be lucky enough to have good health for a whole year.
"Research shows that children with high levels of attendance achieve better grades at GCSE, so we do everything we can to encourage good attendance at our school."
The school received a grant from Surrey County Council four years ago to help improve attendance.
This funding has been used to provide a limo ride every year for pupils with perfect attendance.
However, they will be the last to enjoy this incentive as all the money has now been used.
