Walton enjoy four goal blast

RYMAN ONE SOUTH Corinthian Casuals............. 2 Walton & Hersham.......... 4

Demanding boss Jimmy Bolton still was not totally satisfied after Walton made it two wins out of two at neighbours Cornithian Casuals last night.

Bolton was less than pleased with a below-par second half show after Swans had powered into a 4-1 half-time lead.

Swans made just one change from Saturday's win over Crowborough, with new signing Adrian Stone replacing Zak Graham up front.

The first half proved a very open affair, full of good attacking by both sides.

It was Walton who opened the scoring after eight minutes, when Craig Dunne was barged in the back in the penalty area. Skipper Barry Moore stepped up to fire home the spot kick.

Casuals levelled five minutes later when Tom Jelly finished off a good move with a fierce drive into the top right corner of the net.

Walton regained the lead in the 19th minute, when Tom Carter crossed from the left and Moore stooped to plant a header in the bottom corner.

Within a minute it was three, as Phil Cramp won the ball in the box and crossed for Stone to drive it home.

The game was virtually all over in the 38th minute, when Moore's superb long ball found Stone, whose drive across the box was volleyed home by Craig Dunne. Walton took their foot off the gas after the interval and Casuals pulled a second goal back in the 75th minute, when David Ocquaye crossed for Jelly to glance his header home.
