Kim calls in the old guard

WOKING head coach Kim Grant has moved swiftly to patch-up Cards' leaking defence.

He has used his old contacts at Millwall, to bring in experienced goalkeeper Lennie Pidgley on a month's loan, with a view to making a permanent signing.

Pidgley's arrival will not, however, result in the imminent departure of Cards' young shot-stoppers, Ross Worner and Nick Gindre. "They are both lads for the future, and I hope that they will learn an awful lot from training with and being around such a seasoned player as Lennie," said Grant.
